Nahr al-Kalb (Dog River)

The Nahr al-Kalb meaning Dog River in Arabic is a river in Lebanon. It runs from a spring in Jeita near the Jeita Grotto to the Mediterranean Sea. The place is historic as many past Army Generals and Conquerors have traditionally built monuments at the mouth of the river known as the Commemorative stelae of Nahr el-Kalb.

On our way to the Jeita Grotto, we stopped and around the river. There's so much of history all around here....so much to see.
