Anjar is a small town located in the
Bekaa Valley, in Lebanon and is mainly populated by the Armenians who are settled here. The city was founded in the 8th century and is witness to the
Umayyad civilization. The ruins found here have been recognized as a World Heritage Site.
This was the first stop of our today's day trip. These ancient ruins never fail to fascinate me. Here's some pictures...
