Château Ksara

Château Ksara probably the most popular Lebanese wine company is based in the Beqaa Valley, Lebanon. After wandering over the ruins of the Roman Temples in the Beqaa Valley we headed here which was just the perfect way to end the day....to drink some good wine.

Château Ksara was founded by Jesuit Priests in 1857 and the age old way of producing wines underground in large barrels still carries on. It is believed that it was here in Ksara which produced Lebanon's first dry red wine.
