Petra....chosen by the Smithsonian Magazine as one of the "28 Places to See Before You Die." Petra tells us a story of a lost civilization some 2000 years. The "Rose City" just is jaw dropping amazing....just the thought how so long ago the engineering was so phenomenon.
It was a 3 hour drive from Amman.....but then it was totally worth the travel. There are donkeys and horse carts that one could take to go from the entrance but we all just walked. I loved it!
