Citadel Hill of Amman & Roman Theater

Wandering in Amman......meeting a friend and his family, a Jordanian who be-friended way back when I was in college. It's always lovely to see a familiar face....but who would have thought that after all these years I would visit his country and see him and his family?! After years we re-connected thanks to the internet...and here I was in Jordan....a country defined by ancient monuments and rich natural resources.

The Amman Citadel is a historical site at the centre of downtown Amman. You can see spectacular view of the city from here. And of course we also visited the Roman Theater built in the 2nd century which was not far from the Citadel.
